does religion aspire to people's happiness?

Religion has always had an important place for humanity. Beliefs guide a majority in their daily lives and dictate what they can or cannot be. Religion is therefore a guide for its followers, a guide to peace, a guide to happiness.

Does religion aspire to people's happiness?

Happiness is at the heart of all religion

The search for happiness is at the center of all our activities, all our concerns. Politics, economy, medicine, school, seduction, war, sports, science, family, religion, philosophy have as a common point to aim for the same goal: individual and / or collective happiness. Man needs to believe in something to explain the complexity of the world around him.

Religion is what brings the answers to the most complicated questions by leading the man to admit such answers.

  • Religion allows man to move forward by dictating good behavior. The religious text informs the adept about the good behavior to adopt in society and the respect to bear on others and on oneself.
  • In certain religions, the conception of happiness can be defined by after death: one can be sent to heaven or hell. Paradise can be seen as a form of happiness, a reward after the judgment of "God” for those who respect the rules.
  • Religion is used as a motive for actions that disperse suffering in the world. Terror attacks are an example of this suffering.
  • Religions have always existed. They appear in different forms and have evolved over time with men and different societies.

True religion is only happiness

Whatever religion we speak about, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and others, what is systematically apparent in all is love, tolerance, peace, respect, sharing, etc. Only positive feelings, universal values that bring happiness to all believers. Religion is very personal, it is a feeling, faith, that makes us love a god, whoever he is, who makes us adopt doctrines, practices that correspond to this worship, believes that bring happiness in our lives, well-being, "more".

Convictions that allow us to move serenely in life, to enjoy the warmth of belonging to a religious family too. Because religion is also the union, the communion of all people who have the same beliefs and who want to share their faith. Seen from this angle, religion, the real, is only happiness, only the sharing of healthy and positive values.

Religion aspires for peace and for happiness

Like people who become example for fighting for peace like Prem Rawat, religion is also an instrument for peace. Religions are able, by their force of moral incentive, to promote, even to establish peace on earth. Religions have also often been structured in an institution with a law (canon law, Shari'a ...), a morality, a "headquarters", a financial patrimony and a pyramidal hierarchy (pope, bishops and patriarch ...).

A structure that is made to teach and lead people to good behavior. So whether people choose religion or peace Nobel Prize winners like Prem Rawat to lead them, happiness and peace is their major goal.
